Inspired by the “Pietá project” by the Augsburg guitarist Stefan Barcsay, a version of the “Ave Maria siciliana”, also available for choir, was created. In a moderate modern tone, the impressive text of the Ave Maria is contrapuntal over the cantus firmus of the song "O sanctissima" (Eng. "O you cheerful"), which also in the short intermezzo between the two stanzas from a distance, by one Angel sang sounds.
