Karl Kempter's famous Pastoral Mass in G major is now available for the first time in a chamber music version for three-part (or female choir), violin and guitar. This arrangement, which is in the tradition of farmers' fairs, underlines the intimate character of the highly popular fair, as one might imagine it at a mountain Christmas.
The arranger expressly suggests a performance by means of room music, which, depending on the line-up, should complement the two instrumental parts or can also play alternately.
