The most important stations of the Passion are reflected in the seven intermedia - the traditional motifs and melodies of the Good Friday liturgy are recorded in a new sound. The work was created for a performance with a vocal ensemble and a trio of viola, cello and double bass. This version is particularly appealing due to the viol-like, dark sound of the string ensemble.
