Four Prussian (Old „Preussisch“) pagan deities provide the title for short miniatures, each for a percussion instrument and piano. The piano part is always supplemented by a tonally attractive instrument (water gong, “heavenly” crotales, warlike timpani or a dance of death xylophone).
This work is also suitable for young people and was created for the “Jugend musiziert” competition.
