Guise, Jean François de - Solo for three op. 25, No. 21
€8.00*
Guise Jean François deSolo for threeop. 25, No. 21The guitar trio "Solo for three" by Jean François de Guise was created in 2016 from the idea of processing three solo lines into an ensemble. The particular challenge was to work the individual phrases in such a way that the solo element still comes to the fore. Each of the instruments has its own underlying twelve-tone row and processes it. The sound effects and playing techniques used interlock the voices with each other and ultimately lead to the creation of a real trio.Despite the relatively simple-looking individual parts, the composer demands a high degree of attention in the interplay as well as intonational sensitivity. Each passage must be carefully crafted to present the tonal variety inherent in the work.Nevertheless, it is also suitable for advanced students, for example as a competition entry or concert preludes.3 guitarsScore & 3 parts / 11 pages
