Kreuzlinger Franz"Daughter Zion"Intrada and choraleFor brass quartet and timpaniThis little intrade was created as a festive intonation to the Advent song "Daughter Zion". It takes up the sequence of the introduction that Handel himself used in his oratorio "Judas Maccabeus". This song is regularly introduced in a similar form at the famous “Last night of the Proms”.2 trumpets, 2 trombones and timpaniScore and parts / 7 pages
Mozart Wolfgang AmadeusA Very Little Night Music
Serenade for brass quartetarranged by Franz Kreuzlinger
In September 2024, the “Serenata ex C” – affectionately titled “A Very Little Night Music” – was awakened from its slumber after more than 250 years. Franz Kreuzlinger immediately arranged a version for organ. Some of these movements are also feasible for organists who are not yet so advanced and are also suitable as interludes in the liturgy. Overall, it is an interesting and varied piece for performance.
