Kreuzlinger Franz - German measurement proprium

Product information "Kreuzlinger Franz - German measurement proprium"

Kreuzlinger Franz
German measurement proprium

for choir (SATB), congregation (ad lib.), trombone, harp, percussion, dulcimer and organ

The German Mass Proprium based on psalm texts was mainly created in 2008 and is seen by its composer as a major compositional work. The very cast of the instrumental ensemble that gathers the biblical instruments of praise gives the work its very own touch. Never leaving the tonality entirely, the work does not deny the alpine origins of its creator, which is partly reminiscent of Carl Orff, partly of Arthur Honegger.
The delightful choral part can also be easily performed by ambitious amateur choirs.

Sophrane, alto, tenor, bass, trombone, dulcimer, harp, timpani, crotales, musical spoons, organ
