In September 2024, the „Serenata ex C“ - given the affectionate title „A Very Little Night Music“ - was awakened from its slumber after over 250 years. Franz Kreuzlinger immediately created a version for organ. Some of these movements can also be performed by the less advanced organist and are also suitable as intermediate music in the liturgy. Overall, the result is an interesting performance piece that represents a worthwhile challenge.
